About the role
As a Senior Product Designer working on E-commerce at Crunchyroll, you will oversee the design and user experience opportunities for our digital E-commerce platform. As an individual contributor, you’ll brainstorm and improve upon existing experiences that help increase revenue and cross selling opportunities a global audience of anime fans all across the world.
- Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling visuals and graphics that convey Crunchyroll’s brand’s message, value proposition, and story to capture the attention of potential customers.
- Branding Consistency: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, maintaining a cohesive look and feel that resonates with the target audience.
- User-Centric Approach: Apply user-centered design principles to create materials that resonate with the target audience and guide them towards the desired actions, like signing up or making a purchase.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with our E-commerce team to analyze the performance of design assets and improve on them to improve conversion rates and overall effectiveness and satisfaction.
- Continue to develop a deeper empathy for our users. In partnership with our user research team, gain and apply user insights to new concepts and in-development designs. Ensure that design decisions are rooted in a clear understanding of user needs and motivations.
- Collaborate with designers on other teams to ensure that design solutions for a specific platform are scalable and the experience is holistic and seamless for the end-users across all platforms.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Product Design.

About You
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
- 8+ years of professional product design experience
- Experience designing for E-commerce platforms and experiences
- Demonstrate a user-centered approach to designing software and services
- Experience in design programs like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient knowledge and skill in wireframing, prototyping, and UI and interaction design
- Storytelling skills and an ability to present design work
- Experience working with design systems, guidelines, and other standard methodologies
- Experience using data to advise in design decisions
- Experience aligning partners within technical limitations to deliver good experiences for users and business leaders
- Bachelor’s degree in design or an equivalent field
About the Team
Hi, we’re the Product Design team designing Crunchyroll’s user experiences. We shape the Crunchyroll website, mobile apps, and TV experiences, all in the name of delivering a fun and intuitive 360 anime experience.We’re not lone wolves; we’re partners in crime with the business, product, program, and engineering teams. We team up across the company to nail down the right challenges and create solutions that address business and user needs.
