Job Description

  • Act as a technical reference for the team regarding Game and level Design and provide technical support for fast prototyping and integration.
  • Collaborate with Design and Programming teams to implement tools & features in the engine.
  • Proactively identify and define technical solutions for various gameplay and systemic features.
  • Understand, collect, and share best practices, pipelines, and workflows.
  • Document tools and pipeline and ensure that team members have all the necessary tools and information to use them.
  • Design, implement and review game content within the engine.
  • Initiate and participate in knowledge sharing and problem solving with other team members within and/or across projects/disciplines.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical design/direction experience in working on AAA titles.
  • Experience or familiarity with Assassin’s Creed titles or similar is a plus.
  • An aptitude and drive for innovation, collaboration, decision-making, and creative problem-solving.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of game engine, game editor and visual programming (Anvil preferred, Unreal).
  • Understanding of scripting languages is a plus (C# preferred).
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the video game development process, including the requirements and constraints of game design, engine, and platform.
  • Leadership and people management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, mentorship and presentation skills.
