Job Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish for the construction, design, and delivery of Cloud Data Centers in the EMEA region. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Your responsibilities include managing the Construction Design and Delivery program for Cloud Data Centers, coordinating with stakeholders and business partners, delivering cost-effective solutions for capacity needs, leveraging construction design, procurement, and execution, and setting the strategy for a multi-functional cross-geographic team to deliver Cloud data center capacity in the region.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in program management
Experience in Project Management
Experience in Electrical Engineering

Good to have:

Experience with Project Controls
Excellent design and problem solving skills
Excellent business communication skills

Minimum qualifications:

Responsibilities

Manage the Construction Design and Delivery program for Cloud Data centers.
Work together and coordinate with a broad group of stakeholders and business partners to deliver the most cost effective solution to meet capacity business needs in a particular geographical metro area or site.
Leverage construction design, procurement, and execution to set the strategy for a multi-functional cross geographic team to deliver Cloud data center capacity in the region.
