About the Job&nbsp;
Catface is seeking a creative and experienced Showrunner to manage and oversee the entire video production process from start to finish. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality video recordings, maintaining efficient communication across teams, and continuously improving the production pipeline. This role requires a passion for YouTube content, extensive knowledge of Minecraft gameplay, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
<ul>
<li>Oversee the preparation, production, and quality assurance of daily videos, ensuring that assets, sets, and tech scripts meet pre-production standards.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for all teams involved in the production, ensuring clear and consistent communication across departments.</li>
<li>Conduct thorough run-throughs before each recording to ensure smooth execution.</li>
<li>Schedule and direct video recordings with cast members, collaborating closely with the Director to ensure top-quality production within set timelines.</li>
<li>Provide detailed notes and feedback from recordings to the post-production team, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity.</li>
<li>Review each step of the production process, proposing solutions to any issues that arise, and work with teams to enhance efficiency and workflow.</li>
<li>Sit in on the start of recording sessions to ensure a smooth setup and provide ongoing support for any immediate adjustments.</li>
<li>Review video edits, ensuring mistakes are removed and additional creative elements are added when necessary to enhance video appeal.</li>
<li>Use performance data to drive continuous improvement in video content and production processes.</li>
<li>Log and document any issues during recordings and conduct post-mortems with relevant teams to address these.</li>
<li>Be available to assist with weekend review rotations.</li>

What We’re Looking For:
<ul>
<li>Must have 3+ years of experience working in video production, with experience leading teams in a fast-paced entertainment environment.</li>
<li>1+ years of experience working in YouTube production required.</li>
<li>A genuine passion for Minecraft/Roblox/YouTube gameplay, with a strong understanding of YouTube gaming content and the evolving platform landscape.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing workflows and production demands.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in collaboration with small teams.</li>
<li>A positive, team-oriented attitude, with a focus on collaboration and respect to achieve the highest quality content.</li>
<li>Knowledge of video editing tools and production processes is essential.</li>
<li>Ability to be agile and manage shifting priorities week by week in the dynamic YouTube environment.</li>
<li>Based in Austin, TX, or must be willing to relocate in less than 60 days from hire.</li>
</ul>
