Join Modoyo's Publishing team as a Social Media Manager to define the online presence of their FPS game, Heart Electric. You will work with Art and Development teams to build a community across various platforms. Responsibilities include developing social media strategies, creating content, managing social media activity, representing the game in content, collaborating with teams, monitoring player sentiment, maintaining content calendars, tracking trends, and building the community. The role is based in Stockholm and involves on-camera appearances.
Must have:
  • 3+ years managing social media channels, ideally in gaming.
  • Deep knowledge of gaming culture and platform trends.
  • Skilled in social media tools and content creation software.
  • Experience with video editing.
  • Understanding of the creator and streaming ecosystem.
  • Confident writing voice with strong instincts.
  • Self-starter mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable being on-camera.

About the role

Join the Publishing team at Modoyo as a Social Media Manager, where you’ll help define the voice and online presence of our adrenaline-fueled FPS, Heart Electric. You’ll work closely with our Art and Development teams and help shape the foundation of a growing community - engaging players and expanding our reach across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube.

We’re looking for someone who’s fluent in both gaming culture and social media strategy - a creative leader who can spark conversations, build momentum, and turn ideas into must-share content. You’ll be a key voice for Heart Electric, helping us craft a brand that’s inclusive, high-energy, and deeply connected to players.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for Heart Electric and Modoyo's owned channels.
  • Create and curate content using a mix of in-house assets, your own creations and external partners.
  • Manage day-to-day activity on social platforms, ensuring a consistent voice, tone and style.
  • Represent Heart Electric in Social-facing content, including on-camera appearances.
  • Collaborate with Art and Dev teams to align on updates, campaigns and community storytelling.
  • Monitor player sentiment and share meaningful insights with internal teams.
  • Maintain content calendars across all platforms.
  • Track social trends and identify new opportunities to engage and grow the audience.
  • Help lay the foundation for long-terms community building as the team expands.

What We'd Like to See

  • 3+ years managing or growing social media channels - ideally at a game studio or a game related creative agency or personal brand with scale.
  • Deep knowledge of gaming culture and platform-specific trends.
  • Skilled in social media tools and content creation software.
  • Experience with video editing.
  • Understanding of the creator and streaming ecosystem.
  • A confident, clear writing voice with strong instincts for tone, timing and audience.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Comfortable being on-camera and representing the game in a public-facing role.
  • No academic degree required - creativity, impact and passion matter the most!

Modoyo means the Mojo Dojo; a place where we nurture stellar collaboration and an environment where the best ideas can crystallize and flourish.

We are a new studio in Stockholm, Sweden, founded by game industry veterans from EA, Sega, DICE, King, Avalanche, Mojang and more. Our strong intention is to grow an environment where the best ideas, conversations and collaborations make up the most creative and psychologically safe atmosphere in the industry.

Located centrally in Södermalm, our team consists of 30 talented game-makers of all levels, and we’re looking to grow our team with humble and positive industry drivers.

  • This is a full time position
  • This role requires you to be based in Stockholm, Sweden.
  • We are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship to applicants, but are hoping to in the future
