DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Research, design and develop audio algorithms.

  • Implement robust embedded software using modern C++ constructs.

  • Optimize audio algorithm implementations using vectorized instruction sets.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years' experience developing audio signal processing algorithms.

  • Strong knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) fundamentals.

  • In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas: audio effects, spatial audio, microphone processing, speech processing, natural language processing, psychoacoustic models.

  • Experience developing software in C++.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, with emphasis in DSP.

  • MS degree

  • Proficient in Matlab or Python

  • Machine learning experience

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This contract position has a base pay range of $65 - $100 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
