Scope:
- Deliver on time, on scope, and on budget against Spectrum retail planning roadmap items.
- Inspire and motivate cross functional teams by removing roadblocks and managing expectations.
- While having strong focus on delivery, provide thought leadership about retail solutions and work with experts to drive solutions to new industry verticals
- Experience in development of retail products similar to Enterprise Planning, Assortment, Allocation or knowledge in calculation engines, experience in solving large scalability problem of retail industries like softline or similar ones
- Project Management skills; will have demonstrated the ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution; will understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results
- Strong Delivery Lead and manage cross functional teams
Our current technical environment:
- Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
- Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
- Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (AKS, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
What you’ll do:
- Build a world-class cross functional team of 40+ associates.
- Provide functional and technical leadership
- Involve in requirement gathering, design discussions to come up with architectural solutions
- Lead technical initiatives globally across Product
- Drive Service release planning accurately, track and report delivery and budgeting at program and release level. Reviews project milestones, deliverables, and quality of teams to identify risk and mitigation.
- Should be able to handle customer escalation interactions for technical problems. Should respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Leads teams that include senior architects and other resources not in their reporting organization.
- Ensures teams follow and adhere to Agile development processes and standards.
- Quick Learner, Result Oriented and work in a start-up mode for building and productizing prototype
- Build and maintain collaborative and highly motivated product development teams
- Build plans and capability to deliver against corporate objectives and strategies.
- Lead teams to implement critical programs/projects/initiative and roadmap items, develop key metrics, and monitor and measure results. Provide course corrections as needed.
- Ensure Product Development team is effectively integrated with key internal & external stakeholders with clear accountabilities, deliverables and measures, and that process improvement opportunities are identified and enacted.
- Play a vital role in managing relationships with outside stakeholders and across BY departments.
- Work with various Business Leaders across Retail domain and technology
- Work with Partners to accelerate delivery and execute go to market strategy
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 13-16 years of experience in Software development using J2ee, Spring Boot, MicroServices, OAuth, REST, GraphQL, Hibernate, NoSQL, RDBMS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, ReactJs
- Strong supply chain knowledge in Retail Domain
- SaaS experience and/or Azure knowledge.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to connect to masses but sill deep rooted on the ground.
- Risk identification and Assessment as it relates to enterprise solutions.
- History of building strong and resilient teams and leaders.
