Haleon, a leading consumer health company, is seeking a Supply Planning Lead to manage a team responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs. This role involves creating and standardizing integrated processes across internal functions, sites, and CMOs to achieve excellent customer service and an agile supply chain. Key responsibilities include inventory optimization, planning parameter reviews, data analysis and reporting, KPI management, model communication, driving financial and process improvements, and performing lean management activities. The lead will also focus on team leadership, stakeholder relationship management, and championing new product introductions. Accountability includes ensuring process adherence, conducting training, monitoring performance, continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance with regulations.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Planning/Inventory Management/Financial
  • At least 5 years of people management experience
  • Supply Planning experience (demand and supply)
  • Experience with SAP APO/IBP
  • Data management understanding and experience with large datasets
  • Leadership skills with effective communication and stakeholder management

About the role

As a Supply Planning Lead you'd be managing a Team responsible for Supply Planning by ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost through effective use of KPIs. Creates and standardize integrated processes across internal QSC functions, internal Site and CMO to support achieve excellent customer service and agile supply chain.

Role Responsibilities

  • Inventory Optimization: Lead initiatives with planners and managers at the Market, Plant, and Supply Hub to implement agreed actions.

  • Planning Parameter Review: Conduct regular reviews for the Regional Planning Hub and regularly update management on key initiatives and bottlenecks.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize existing data to identify relationships and improvement opportunities for working capital management. Provide regular key inventory analyses to stakeholders to drive required actions.

  • KPI Management: Calculate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department, identifying risks and opportunities.

  • Model Communication: Summarize and communicate complex models efficiently using knowledge, process, and tool development.

  • Financial and Process Improvements: Support and lead financial and process improvements with active participation from supply planning teams, ensuring successful completion.

  • Certifications and Lean Processes: Obtain internal/external certifications and perform lean process management activities across the supply chain.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a highly capable supply planning team.

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with BU key stakeholders to maximize customer service levels.

  • New Product Introduction: Champion quick and agile new product introductions to support BU Innovation/GeoX businesses.

Accountability:

  • Process Adherence: Regularly review and conduct gemba of supply planning activities to ensure they align with global standards.

  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions to ensure supply chain community and relevant stream understand and follow supply planning processes and understanding how it impacts E2E.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to assess compliance.

  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback to identify and address process inefficiencies.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment of process and data requirement.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure processes comply with regulations and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Supply Chain Planning/Inventory Management/Financial

  • With People Management experience- at least 5 years. 

    Supply Planning experience – with demand and supply planning experience. 

  • Experiences with a supply environment that leverages SAP APO/IBP

  • Supply Planning Experience and understanding.

  • Data Management understanding and experience working with large sets of data.

  • Leadership skills with effective communication and stakeholder management
