Job Description

As a Talent Engagement Specialist at Google, you'll be responsible for executing various go-to-market initiatives and programs to build Google's short and long-term applicant pipeline. This includes networking sessions for leadership-level talent, large-scale preparation sessions for early career to mid-senior level talent, and implementing engagement programs to activate a high-potential passive pipeline. You'll also be responsible for building social media communications for programs, promoting Google's employee advocacy program, and conducting benchmarking exercises to enhance Google's social media presence. The role requires strong collaboration with internal and external partners, including recruiting teams, event programs, and third-party vendors, to ensure the successful delivery of these programs. You'll be a key player in cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, acting as a crucial link between cross-functional and international recruiting teams.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years program/project management experience
  • Excellent project management & delivery skills
  • Exceptional content development & presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
Good to have:
  • APAC recruiting experience
  • Data interpretation & actionable solution creation
  • High tolerance for ambiguity

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in APAC recruiting.
  • Ability to interpret different data sets to decipher patterns and come up with actionable solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver results, with extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Excellent content development, articulation, written and presentation skills.
  • Uncommon balance of creativity and drive, along with strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a wide variety of go-to-market initiatives and programs (e.g., networking sessions for leadership level talent, large-scale preparation session for early career to mid-senior level talent, etc.) to build Google’s short and long-term applicant pipeline and ensure the successful delivery of these programs. 
  • Build social media comms for programs, promote Google employee advocacy program, conduct benchmarking exercises, and research best practices across different organizations to build a solid social media presence for Google.
  • Implement large-scale and niche small-scale engagement and outreach programs to activate a high-potential passive pipeline to enable the recruiting delivery team for hiring mid-senior to senior level talent.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal partners as well as external users and partners including recruiting delivery teams, event programs, third-party vendors, etc. to enable efficient execution of industry programs.
