An exciting opportunity for a People Partner, has become available at our Seletar site in Singapore. This key role will be part of the business management team for the development and implementation of business strategy with particular emphasis on the people and organisational elements including HR operations. To ensure HR service is provided in-country (or range of countries) consistent with the size of the employee population and the characteristics of work being performed.

Key Accountabilities
Partner with Business leaders in mobilising the people strategy and driving the business deliverables, bringing the latest HR insights to the process.
Ensuring the development of Strategic Workforce Planning to support these business strategies and plans.
Contribute to and influence the development of country HR requirements. Drive the effectiveness of the HR delivery model through working collaboratively across the business and utilising GBS.
Coach the leadership team in handling sensitive or complex HR issues and in their own personal development including meeting Rolls-Royce leadership expectations.
Diagnosing business problems from an Organisation Development perspective, using tools to identify the levers which will maximise organisation performance.
Provide effective employee relations advice given the context the business area is working in, consistent with country employment legislation, compliance and regulatory requirements.
Manage global and local projects, or components of projects. Bring challenge and perspectives to the business agenda, particularly ensuring solid succession plans, talent development and an environment that allows people to be at their best.
Provide local intelligence to Resourcing, Reward, Employee Relations and Business Areas on hiring trends, successful reward package elements, including benefits, and drivers for motivating the workforce.
Requirements
Qualified to degree level or equivalent and minimum 8 - 10 years’ HR-related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to thrive in a Global matrixed organization including credibility and influencing skills at senior levels and across functions. Ability to analyse and challenge business strategy and develop people implications.
Broad change management skill set, combined with the ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organisational change. Broad knowledge of the HR function and its capability to support business objectives.
Ability to coach senior leaders and their teams to deliver business strategy and drive performance and capability improvement within their teams. Experience using Organisation Development to enhance business/organisational performance.
Knowledge of country employment laws, regulations, procedures and HR issues. Sensitive to language and cultural differences.
Continual commitment to personal learning, demonstrated ability to build on learning and share within the broader HR function.
Experience in Employee Relations is a plus.
This will be a maternity coverage for 8 months duration.
