This framework benefits investors and listed companies trading on Nasdaq exchanges and strengthens our regulatory program in turn enhances the integrity and transparency of the markets, protects investors and develops the next generation of regulatory technologies and processes.
Our Team
Surveillance within Nasdaq works to keep our markets fair and efficient by upholding effective and well-balanced regulation and fairly enforcing our rules. We are at the core of the marketplaces, and we interact with issuers, trading participants, investors and regulators to build and preserve confidence in our markets. We take part in forming rules and practices and we make important decisions to protect investors and to uphold orderly trading.
The team monitors trading in all asset classes across (equities, fixed income instruments and derivatives) the Nordic marketplaces that Nasdaq operates. Further, the team is responsible for admitting new trading members and to monitor their on-going compliance in relation to regulations and rules.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be at the core of the marketplace with the goal to protect the integrity and preserve confidence in our markets. In this role, you will be analyzing trading patterns and identifying abnormal behavior that can indicate suspicious market abuse (e.g., insider trading and market manipulation), together with other forms of breaches of rules.

What happens now?
This is a full time position located in Stockholm. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.
