Job Details

NVIDIA is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and visionary Vice President of Global Events & Experiences to own and elevate our worldwide events portfolio—with our flagship GTC (GPU Technology Conference) at its core. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for crafting NVIDIA’s event strategy, driving innovation in experiential marketing, and delivering large-scale, immersive experiences that showcase our leadership in AI, accelerated computing, gaming, robotics, automotive, and beyond!

As a key member of the executive team, you will develop and implement a cohesive events strategy aligned with overall marketing and corporate vision. You will lead an outstanding team in crafting memorable, engaging events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid platforms while encouraging industry partnerships and amplifying NVIDIA’s global brand presence. Want to make a difference? Come join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define, plan and implement NVIDIA’s global events strategy, ensuring that flagship events like GTC set the industry standard for innovation, engagement, and operational excellence.

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of event professionals, empowering them to deliver multi-faceted, large-scale events with precision and creativity.

  • Partner with executive leaders across product, marketing, sales, engineering, and partner ecosystems to ensure event themes and content align seamlessly with NVIDIA’s broader objectives.

  • Encourage the use of new event technologies—like personalized experiences, AR/VR, and real-time data—to improve attendee participation and **construct** innovative event experiences.

  • Lead all aspects of end-to-end event planning, logistics, vendor partnerships, and budget management to ensure seamless execution and measurable value.

  • Represent NVIDIA externally as an industry visionary in event innovation, engaging with vital team members, sponsors, and partners to elevate NVIDIA’s market presence.

  • Develop and supervise key performance metrics (e.g., attendance, engagement, pipeline generation, and brand lift) to continuously refine event strategies and drive business impact.

What We Need To See:

  • 15+ overall years of Sr. Director/VP level experience in planning, managing, and scaling large-scale global events (50,000+ attendees and 50+ team members) with executive leadership responsibility for revenue generating events.

  • MBA or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years of experience leading teams

  • Experience leading global events and experience marketing in the technology, SaaS, or related sectors, demonstrating success in both in-person and hybrid/virtual environments.

  • Outstanding strategic and operational competence paired with solid business, financial (experience overseeing budgets of $20 million plus including event P&L), and cross-functional leadership abilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and high-level industry partners.

  • A passion for innovation and a deep understanding of bringing to bear technology to build immersive, memorable event experiences that drive brand awareness, revenue, and market growth.

Ways To Stand Out from the crowd:

  • Deep domain expertise in AI, HPC, or related technology sectors, with a clear grasp of the nuances of tech-focused event content and demonstrations.

  • Visionary and hands on experience in redefining flagship events (e.g., scaling GTC-like conferences to global prominence), setting trends, and establishing industry benchmarks.

  • A robust professional network in the event, experience marketing, and technology sectors, with a demonstrated track record in forging strategic partnerships and securing credible speakers, sponsors, and collaborators.

  • A history of innovation in event design and execution, showcasing the integration of digital and experiential elements to deliver results oriented, outstanding and engaging experiences.

  • Proven track record working with developers and the developer community to drive adoption of new technologies, products, and solutions.
