The VP, Business Development - North America will architect and lead high-impact business expansion, market penetration, and revenue acceleration across North America. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in sales, strategic partnerships, and regulatory navigation within the gaming, iGaming, or iLottery industries. Responsibilities include developing and owning the North American business development strategy, identifying and executing high-value partnerships, leading new market entry initiatives, overseeing multi-million-dollar revenue generation, serving as an industry thought leader, building and scaling a high-performing team, and implementing best-in-class operational tools. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, a proven track record of driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth, and deep understanding of North American gaming regulations.

Job Details

As the Vice President of Business Development – North America, you will be a key growth architect responsible for leading high-impact business expansion initiatives, market penetration strategies, and revenue acceleration efforts across the region. This role requires a dynamic executive leader with deep expertise in sales, strategic partnerships, and regulatory navigation in the gaming, iGaming, or iLottery industries. You will shape and execute long-term business development strategies, positioning Aristocrat at the forefront of the North American gaming market while driving transformational growth.

What You'll Do

Executive Growth Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop and own the North American business development strategy, aligning with Aristocrat’s global vision and revenue growth targets.

  • Identify, cultivate, and execute high-value partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances to expand market presence.

  • Lead new market entry initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and emerging opportunities in the gaming, iGaming, and iLottery sectors.

  • Champion market intelligence, leveraging data-driven insights to guide expansion strategies and investment decisions.

High-Stakes Sales & Revenue Leadership

  • Oversee multi-million-dollar revenue generation efforts by leading strategic sales initiatives, contract negotiations, and deal closures at an executive level.

  • Lead C-suite level engagements with operators, government agencies, and key stakeholders to unlock new revenue streams and expansion deals.

  • Drive end-to-end sales execution from opportunity identification to complex contract structuring and regulatory approval processes.

  • Develop and oversee revenue performance metrics, pipeline forecasting, and sales governance frameworks to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Industry Influence & Strategic Positioning

  • Serve as a key industry thought leader, representing Aristocrat at major conferences, regulatory forums, and high-profile industry events.

  • Design and execute market positioning strategies, including bridge, platform, content, and cross-selling campaigns, to ensure that Aristocrat remains a dominant player in the region.

  • Advocate for regulatory advancements, working with compliance teams and industry bodies to shape policies that support business expansion.

Enterprise-Level Leadership & Team Growth

  • Build and scale a high-performing North American business development team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

  • Develop leadership succession plans and talent development programs, ensuring a world-class sales and business development organization.

  • Align cross-functional teams across marketing, customer management, service, and product development to drive unified growth initiatives.

  • Champion customer-first leadership, collaborating with stakeholders across Aristocrat to enhance customer value propositions and engagement strategies.

Operational Excellence & Business Intelligence

  • Implement best-in-class CRM, analytics, and performance tracking tools to measure effectiveness and optimize business development efforts.

  • Oversee regional sales programs, ensuring a seamless alignment of business objectives, operational execution, and revenue outcomes.

  • Lead RFP strategy and contract negotiations, ensuring Aristocrat secures advantageous agreements and long-term market positioning.

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of business development and sales leadership in the iGaming, iLottery, or casino gaming industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth through high-stakes strategic partnerships, deals, and market expansion.

  • Deep understanding of North American gaming market regulations, government relations, and competitive dynamics.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite executives, regulators, and industry leaders.

  • Expert negotiator with a track record of closing complex, high-value contracts.

  • Strategic, data-driven decision-maker with proficiency in sales analytics, CRM, and revenue forecasting tools.

  • Willingness to travel frequently across North America to drive business expansion efforts.

  • Ability to define and execute a North American growth strategy that delivers transformational results.

  • Track record of closing high-value deals and partnerships at the highest levels.

  • Deep expertise in gaming regulations, licensing, and strategic market entry.

  • Strong ability to align global teams and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.

  • Ability to elevate Aristocrat’s brand presence through thought leadership and key industry engagements.

  • Proven experience in recruiting, mentoring, and scaling top-tier business development teams.

Travel Expectations

Up to 50%

Pay Range

$280,770 - $521,430 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
