About the job:
As an Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and customer success for Google's medium and large size businesses. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, developing customized solutions, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for pitching and consulting with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets. This role will involve working closely with a team of experts to provide the best possible service and support to our clients. You will also be responsible for driving customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently
  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner

  • Experience with thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Austria and Switzerland, and consistently drive growth

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and competitive selling.
  • Experience with thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics. Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Austria and Switzerland, and consistently drive growth.
