Job Description

The Ads Measurement Lead in Netflix's LATAM team will design and conduct research to analyze campaign effectiveness, reach, and frequency of Netflix Ads. Responsibilities include creating reports for internal and external stakeholders, comparing Netflix Ads to competitors, presenting insights to clients and agencies, and optimizing media plans. The role requires collaboration with sales, marketing, data science, and vendors, overseeing campaign effectiveness studies, and contributing to the development of learning agendas and playbooks. Strong analytical skills, expertise in various measurement methodologies (Reach & Frequency, Incremental lift, etc.), and excellent communication skills are essential.
Must have:

Good to have:
  • Fluent Spanish

Netflix’s LATAM Ads Measurement team is searching for a senior analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, ads marketing, data science, and vendor partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Conduct research and generate insights that effectively convey the story of Netflix’s Ads in LATAM to market and advertiser clients, with a focus on campaign effectiveness, reach and frequency, campaign verification, and measurement. Integrate audience insights into reports and narratives to ensure a comprehensive representation of Netflix's strengths.

  • Utilize proprietary and syndicated tools to generate regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, comparing Netflix Ads in LATAM to competitors.

  • Integrate measurement outputs to craft compelling Netflix narratives, present insights independently to clients and agencies, and offer guidance on optimizing their media mix.

  • Oversee the end-to-end campaign effectiveness study process with third-party vendors, including sales requests, vendor intake, survey drafting, analysis, report creation, and presentation. Collaborate closely with Sales partners and Account Managers. Build processes to facilitate the execution of these studies.

  • Partner with the LATAM Advertising Sales team to address day-to-day measurement requests. Offer expert advice to sales and advertiser clients on KPIs and measurement strategies, enhancing media plan effectiveness on Netflix.

  • Contribute to the development of advertiser and category-specific learning agendas & playbooks, bringing innovative approaches to the table.

  • Support team projects, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and maintain high standards. Build and promote processes for efficient working methods across the team to bring complex measurement integrations to market.

  • Mine, collect, and retain information on trends in campaign effectiveness within Netflix and the media industries to develop and present case studies from ongoing and completed analyses.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ Years experience in media research at Streaming, TV, or digital media companies.

  • Proficient in campaign effectiveness measurements such as Reach & Frequency, Incremental lift, Brand lift, Matched-Market testing, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models, Search Lift, Location Lift and bespoke campaign effectiveness studies. Including questionnaire scripting. 

  • Strong understanding of methodology, data, and systems from syndicated research providers (e.g. TGI, GWI…) as well as direct digital technology and analytics. 

  • Strong knowledge of the advertising landscape, across all kinds of media channels and methods of buying. Ideally with a TV focus

  • Demonstrated ability to generate strategic insights from rigorous analysis.

  • Self-starter and self-motivated with strong communication skills and expertise in managing larger-scale, complex projects.

  • Highly organized and experienced in building and following processes to improve work efficiency.

  • Flexible and open-minded, thriving in a startup environment with ambiguity.

  • Builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues, valuing diverse perspectives for better decision-making.

  • Highly curious, always seeking the meaning behind data.

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, with an ability to simplify complex data for larger audiences

  • Proficient in English and Portuguese, with fluent or advanced Spanish being desirable.

Preferred Tools & Technical Skills

  • Proven expertise in advanced measurement methodologies. 

  • Comfort in analyzing large and disparate data sets to glean meaningful insights. 

  • Skills in advanced data analysis tools: Python, R, SQL, Excel, Tableau
