The Affiliate Content Associate Producer role is based in the North Sydney office, working with the Nine Digital team. The role involves sourcing, reviewing, writing, and publishing shopping content for 9Product Reviews across various categories. Key responsibilities include pitching content ideas, researching and reviewing products, writing and uploading daily content, collaborating with the team to meet targets, promoting stories, and using Photoshop for image editing. The role requires a minimum of four stories a day and a strong understanding of affiliate marketing and digital media.
Must have:
  • Proven experience in digital media.
  • Understanding of affiliate content and ability to optimize content for revenue.
  • Ability to write fast and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of legal best practices.
  • Experience with publishing in a CMS.
  • Excellent grammar, communication, and research skills.
  • Strong photo editing/Photoshop skills.
  • Strong SEO knowledge.
  • Ability to amplify content on different platforms.

Job Description

The affiliate content associate producer role is based in our North Sydney office, working in the Nine Digital team alongside the digital news, sport, lifestyle, entertainment and video teams.

The role includes sourcing, reviewing, writing and publishing shopping content for 9Product Reviews across tech, beauty, fashion, health, living, parenting.

Day to day you will:

  • Pitch shopping content ideas to the 9Product Reviews editor 
  • Source, research and review products that align with our affiliate revenue goals
  • Keep across major shopping events and new product announcements
  • Write and upload daily and weekend content (minimum 4 stories a day)
  • Work with the 9Product Reviews team to meet audience and revenue targets
  • Assist in the promotion of your stories, via homepage headlines, social media and newsletters
  • Shoot or source images for stories
  • Use Photoshop to create and edit images.

Qualifications

What we would like to see: 

  • Proven experience in digital media 
  • Strong understanding of how affiliate content works and an ability to optimise content to drive affiliate/shopping revenue
  • Ability to write fast, accurate copy and meet rolling deadlines under pressure
  • Strong understanding of legal best practices (additional training provided)
  • First-hand experience with publishing in a CMS
  • Excellent grammar, communication skills and research capabilities
  • Strong photo editing/Photoshop skills 
  • Strong SEO knowledge
  • Ability to amplify content on different platforms (social media, newsletters, Google Showcase, etc.)
