Job Description

The Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative API solutions and act as a bridge between business needs and technological systems, translating business requirements into concrete and innovative solutions. Responsibilities include developing workflows and business applications, collaborating with stakeholders, creating and maintaining business intelligence reports, engineering analytics, and improving continuous processes. The role requires expertise in data analysis and problem-solving, with a focus on asset management operations.

Description du rôle :

Nous recherchons un Analyste en analytique et applications d’affaires avec expérience Finance/Gestion d’actifs.

  • L’Analyste sera responsable de la conception, du développement et de la mise en œuvre de solutions API innovantes.

  • L’Analyste agira comme pont entre les besoins opérationnels et les systèmes technologiques, en traduisant les exigences d’affaires en solutions concrètes et innovantes.

Responsabilités :

  • Développement de flux de travail et d’applications d’affaires : Concevoir, construire et améliorer des solutions internes pour divers processus opérationnels en gestion d’actifs (flux de travail, rapports internes, etc.).

  • Collaborer avec les parties prenantes pour transformer des processus manuels ou fragmentés en solutions efficaces, fiables et évolutives (via des outils comme Microsoft Power Platform). 

  • Production de rapports de veille stratégique : Créer et maintenir des tableaux de bord et des rapports interactifs offrant une visibilité claire sur les indicateurs clés (ex. ventilation de l’actif sous gestion (AUM), données clients, contrôles opérationnels) à l’aide d’outils comme Power BI. 

  • Ingénierie analytique et transformation de données : Structurer et transformer les données de l’organisation en ensembles ciblés pour les différents besoins d’affaires.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes opérationnelles et les spécialistes en données pour mettre en place des flux automatisés et des outils d’analyse connectés à notre entrepôt de données. 

  • Amélioration continue et documentation : Identifier les pistes d’optimisation, recueillir les commentaires des utilisateurs, faire évoluer les solutions en continu et assurer leur adoption.

  • Documenter les processus automatisés, jeux de données, tableaux de bord et applications pour garantir la pérennité et la transférabilité des connaissances. 

Exigences :

  • Diplôme universitaire (baccalauréat ou maîtrise) en génie, science des données, informatique ou discipline connexe. 

  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans un rôle d’analyste d’affaires ou d’amélioration de processus dans un environnement axé sur les données. 

  • Expérience préalable en gestion d’actifs ou opérations d’investissement : un atout majeur. 

  • Capacité à décortiquer des problématiques d’affaires complexes et à proposer des solutions concrètes et exploitables. 

  • Maîtrise des outils Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) pour la création de rapports et d’applications. 

  • Connaissance du « modern data stack » (entreposage de données, outils d’orchestration et de transformation) : un avantage important. 

  • Capacité à apprendre de nouveaux systèmes au besoin, avec curiosité et autonomie. 

  • Esprit critique, rigueur et volonté de comprendre les rouages profonds des processus. 

  • Sens de l’initiative, proactivité dans la détection des problèmes et proposition de solutions. 

  • Excellentes aptitudes à vulgariser l’information technique et à collaborer avec divers profils.

Role description:

We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic and growing client.

This position will play a pivotal role, focusing on building and optimizing workflows, datasets, processes, applications and reports to support asset management operations.

You will act as a bridge between business needs and systems, translating requirements into innovative solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Workflow & Business Application Development – Design, build, and refine workflows and business applications for various asset management functions (operational workflows, internal reporting, etc.).

  • Engage with stakeholders across the firm to transform fragmented processes into efficient, reliable and scalable business applications (using tools like Microsoft Power Platform). 

  • Business Intelligence Reporting – Create and maintain business intelligence reports and control

  • dashboards that provide visibility into key metrics (e.g., Assets Under Management (AUM) breakdown, client metrics, and operational controls, using tools like PowerBI). 

  • Analytics Engineering – Orchestrate and transform data across the organization to produce datasets tailored for specific business needs.

  • Collaborate with business and data specialists to implement workflows  and analytical tools 

  • Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for enhancement of business processes.

  • Use feedback to iterate on solutions and share best practices to improve overall operational efficiency.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and user guides for all automated processes, datasets,dashboards, and applications, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst or analytics/process-improvement role in a data-driven environment. 

  • Previous experience in asset management or investment operations is a strong asset. Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to analyze complex workflows. 

  • Ability to break down business problems and structure data-driven solutions that are practical and effective. 

  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps). 

  • Familiarity with the modern data stack is highly desirable (Snowflake, Matillion Data Productivity Cloud, dbt). 

  • Comfortable learning new systems as needed. 

  • Intellectual curiosity with a drive to understand not just the “what” but the “why” behind processes. 

  • Initiative and self-motivated to identify issues and propose solutions without waiting for direction. 

  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas in simple terms and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
