As an AR Developer you will create interactive AR applications and experiences that push the boundaries of technology.
What you’ll be working on:
Develop AR applications: Design and implement AR experiences using tools like Lens Studio, Effect House, 8th Wall, ARKit, ARCore, Unity, or WebAR frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
Optimize performance: Ensure AR experiences are performant on a variety of devices, focusing on frame rates, memory optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.
Test and debug: Perform thorough testing to ensure the stability and accuracy of AR features and resolve issues related to user interaction, tracking, and rendering.
Stay updated on AR trends: Keep up with the latest AR/VR/MR industry advancements and tools to integrate innovative features and technologies into our projects.
Support product deployment: Help with the integration of AR features into broader products or systems and ensure smooth deployment on app stores or other distribution platforms.
Proficiency in AR development: Experience with Lens Studio, 8th Wall, Spark AR, Effect House and Unity3D Web AR, with multiple projects of sufficient complexity created.
Strong programming skills: Proficient in JavaScript and C#. Other languages are a plus.
3D graphics knowledge: Understanding of 3D rendering, spatial mapping, object recognition, and computer vision techniques for AR applications.
Problem-solving abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AR features for real-time performance and user experience.
Creativity and innovation: Strong interest in creating immersive, interactive, and novel AR experiences.
Version control: Experience using Git or other version control systems.
Self organization and direction: Ability to work with little to no supervision, while delivering highest quality content.
Artistic eye: Good understanding of lighting and composition. Ability to clearly follow established art direction and workflow.
Nice to have:
Basic 3D skills: Ability to perform simple edits or fixes to 3D content or textures.
Experience with ARKit, ARCore, or Vuforia
Familiarity with the Unreal Engine.
