About the Role:

Brookhaven is Roblox’s most popular game, showcasing a blocky, performance-optimized art style designed for seamless play on any device. Our challenge is to deliver high-performance assets that maintain its identity across the platform.

Voldex is looking for an experienced Art Lead for Brookhaven to own Brookhaven’s art direction, ensuring we build performant assets and that all items have a distinct and consistent look and feel inside the game.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute a consistent allocation of time to building out 3D art assets for the game (housing, props, tools, etc).

• Address artistic challenges, manage art-team workloads, and ensure art assets are delivered on time, efficiently, and within the technical performance budget.

• Lead, manage, and mentor a small team of artists, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and fostering a positive, creative work environment.

• Lead Brookhaven’s game style and art direction 

• Supervise both 2D and 3D artists.

• Develop and maintain art-production pipelines, processes, and documentation to ensure efficient asset creation and implementation.

• Review and provide feedback on the team’s work, ensuring assets meet quality standards and align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the project.

What You Bring to the Team:

• A deep understanding of asset performance metrics and methodologies on the Roblox platform.

• High proficiency in Roblox Studio and substantial experience on the Roblox platform.

• Experience creating art assets under strict performance constraints while maintaining a clear, visually appealing style.

• Experience collaborating with game designers and product teams to understand art request details and flag risks or needs for additional information.

• Proven ability to own a game’s art direction and mentor a team of artists toward a consistent execution of that style or direction.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team of artists.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, JIRA, or similar applications.
