Associate Creative Director / Senior Designer

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Art Director/ACD for an exciting opportunity with our client, an innovative and independent digital agency, located in New York City (hybrid on-site role).

As a Senior Art Director/ACD, you will be responsible for driving creative strategy and overseeing execution for various new business and ongoing client projects. This is a hands-on design role where you’ll lead design concepts, collaborate with clients, and mentor a junior team member, all while continuing to shape the creative vision of the agency.

Responsibilities:

• Driving creative strategy and overseeing execution for both new business and current client programs.
• Creating layouts, design concepts, and hands-on design work to bring ideas to life.
• Leading creative review and revisions, ensuring designs meet client expectations and required visual edits.
• Providing guidance on creative decisions, leveraging your experience and expertise in design.
• Managing and mentoring a junior designer while fostering growth within the team.
• Collaborating with a growing team, taking on additional tasks as needed to support projects and clients.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Design/Art Direction within an advertising agency setting.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Strong UX/UI and product design experience with a focus on branding and design systems.
• A portfolio that showcases 360 creative projects, including heavy digital experience (email, website, app design, and UX/UI).
• Experience managing and mentoring at least one junior designer.
• Bonus points for social media and motion graphics experience.
• A diverse, creative vision that resonates across multiple audiences and mediums.
