This role involves creating game publishing PR, facilitating game review outreach with media outlets, and planning gaming tournaments. The manager will analyze social channel performance to recommend improvements, monitor online conversations, and identify new community opportunities. The role requires a data-driven approach to track ROI and engage with online communities. The company focuses on Creative Services, recruiting Digital Creatives to provide the best attention and satisfaction to clients and candidates, working with ad agencies, start-ups, and video game shops.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in gaming.
  • Experience managing social media channels.
  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business, Communications or related major.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute community marketing campaigns and social media channels
  • Create game publishing PR and facilitate game review outreach with media outlets
  • Plan and execute gaming tournaments in partnership with the Events teams
  • Report and analyze social channel health and campaigns to recommend improvements to existing community strategy
  • Be data centric to track the ROI on what's working and what's not working in the community and social outlets
  • Monitor for conversations across the broader web such as Reddit and other partner channels to engage when necessary
  • Be ahead of new media channels to identify new communities and outreach opportunities

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business, Communications or related major
  • 3+ years experience in gaming
  • Track-record of developing and execution on marketing plans
  • Prior experience managing social media channels
  • Ability to manage and oversee content creators, and influencer talent in the execution of marketing campaigns in line with game releases
