Job Description
Passion Gaming Private Limited seeks a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with developers and IT staff to manage availability, scalability, and security of AWS infrastructure. This involves designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, streamlining code deployment, monitoring and optimizing AWS resources, implementing automated monitoring and alerting, troubleshooting infrastructure and application deployment issues, and ensuring compliance with best practices. Strong proficiency in AWS services (IAM, Compute, Storage, Networking), Linux, scripting, and problem-solving is crucial.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 4+ years AWS DevOps experience
- Strong AWS proficiency (IAM, Compute, Storage, Networking)
- Strong Linux, scripting skills
- Problem-solving, attention to detail
- Excellent communication
Good to have:
- AWS Security, IPv6, Python
- RDS, Elasticache, MSK experience
- Networking knowledge (VPC, subnets, etc.)
- Jenkins, Ansible experience
- Docker, Kubernetes familiarity

Job Details
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience who is proficient in AWS ecosystem. The person will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage availability, scalability and security. This role requires a strong understanding of client-server/peer-to-peer communication, development operations, cloud infrastructure management and automation tools.
- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline code deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimise AWS infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
- Implement and maintain automated monitoring and alerting systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and application deployment
- Ensure compliance with best practices for security, scalability, and reliability
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies
Requirements
Must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role using AWS.
• Strong proficiency in AWS domains such as IAM, Compute, Storage, Scalability
and Networking.
• Strong proficiency in Linux flavours, utilities and scripting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
Good to have:
• Hands-on in AWS Security, IPv6 and Python.
• Practical experience with AWS managed services like RDS, Elasticache, MSK.
• Good knowledge of networking, VPC, subnet, subnet masking, Elastic IPs,
route tables, routing, access control list, NAT and port address translation.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration
tools like Kubernetes.
