Job Description

The Tools Software Developer role at Miniclip involves creating and maintaining automation tools to streamline the Product LiveOps strategy. The developer will be responsible for developing robust and scalable solutions, participating in team activities for new concepts, and working with a multidisciplinary agile team. The role requires resolving internal systems bugs and limitations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dedicated, and result-oriented, taking pride in their work and seeking continuous self-development.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in tools or script development using Python
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, preferably C++
  • Excellent problem-solving skills through analytical approaches
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of LiveOps and mobile CSM systems
  • Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD software
  • Background in technical areas within Mobile Game Development

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

Your work will include:

  • Creating and maintaining automation tools to minimize manual steps necessary to execute the Product LiveOps strategy
  • Developing robust and scalable solutions to complex problems by using and improving existing in-house technology
  • Participating in team activities to develop new concepts for promotional campaigns, temporary events, and in-game content
  • Working together with a multi-disciplinary and highly motivated agile scrum development team, including marketing, artists, quality assurance testers, release managers, and others
  • Acting upon opportunities and needs, supporting the development of new features, and resolving internal systems bugs and limitation

The ideal candidate must present the following skills:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in tools or script development to automate time-consuming tasks - using Python
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages - preferably using C++
  • Excellent problem-solving skills through analytical, systematical or intuitive approaches
  • Curiosity towards continuously learning new skills, trying out new approaches, and striving to enhance the quality of products and code
  • Great communication in both written and spoken English

The following skills are desirable but not essential (if you have them, don’t forget to mention them):

  • LiveOps and mobile CSM systems knowledge
  • Jenkins or other CI/CD software knowledge
  • Background in a technical area within Mobile Game Development (Software Development, Quality Assurance, other)
