ABOUT THE ROLE
CORGi - Common Customer Onboarding and Responsible Gaming team - is looking for seasoned developer which will support us in delivering a smooth, fun and healthy experience for our players. As a cross functional team we’re working with a number of different stakeholders - market owners, operations and architects.
Your main focus will be development of existing tools and services utilized by market and AML teams. Our infrastructure is event-driven and cloud-based with 230+ services, spanning across several production environments. We work in a semi-remote (more than half of the team is based in Stockholm) team of five engineers backed up by a product manager, a product owner and an engineering manager.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
● Developing and improving microservices used by several markets.
● Refining requirements with your technical expertise in our domain.
● Taking part in designing solutions by providing your input in discussions with architects, product managers and other stakeholders.
● Supporting the existing ecosystem by building or using existing monitors.
● Maintaining high quality of the code via PRs, writing tests and documentation.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
● Have at least 4+ years of experience as a Java backend developer.
● Be familiar with distributed software architecture - microservices (we use Spring Boot) and message queues (ideally Kafka).
● Know SQL databases (we use MySQL).
● Have worked before with cloud platforms (we use GCP).
NICE TO HAVES
● Proficiency with Kotlin.
