Job Description

This Business Development Manager role focuses on new business sales in the export market, requiring fluent Mandarin and English. Responsibilities include building and managing client relationships, understanding business challenges and marketing objectives, achieving business growth targets by presenting Google advertising solutions, and developing data-driven analyses and recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, experience in advertising or consultative sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key, along with a deep understanding of Google Advertising products and their application to various marketing objectives.
Must have:
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales

  • Data-driven analysis & recommendations
Good to have:
  • Experience in export/e-commerce
  • Experience in a matrixed organization
  • Strong networking skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding business goals.
  • Experience in business or marketing in the export/e-commerce industry.
  • Ability to build personal networking in the ecosystem to drive collaborations.
  • Ability to operate and grow in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment.

We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan for, and achieve business growth targets through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
