Job Summary

Job Description

The Account Executive will build customer relationships, manage complex sales cycles, identify solution use cases, and influence long-term business direction. Responsibilities include meeting sales quotas, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) to develop go-to-market strategies, and creating and executing business plans. The ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of customer technology footprints, strategies, and growth plans, and demonstrate expertise in cloud, BI, and data analytics technologies. Fluency in English and French is required for client relationship management.
Must have:
  • 7+ years enterprise software/cloud sales experience
  • Business intelligence technology promotion experience
  • Data & analytics expertise with enterprise client management
  • Fluent English & French communication
  • Quota attainment and exceeding business goals
Good to have:
  • Experience building accounts from scratch
  • Working with internal/external teams for software estate inventory and transformation planning
  • Knowledge of Cloud, BI, Data & Analytics technologies (BigQuery, Looker, etc.)
  • Executive relationship management
  • Partner ecosystem leveraging

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Experience promoting business intelligence technologies to clients.
  • Experience in data and analytics, with enterprise client management.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience carrying and exceeding business goals in a sales role.
  • Experience supporting long-term executive relationships, and developing territories/accounts from scratch, while ensuring customer success, adoption and expansion.
  • Experience working with internal/external teams to inventory existing software estate, build cases for transformation with implementation plans, and close agreements.
  • Experience prioritizing, planning, and organizing business activity within complex business cycles, including qualifying accounts and leveraging partner ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of trends, products, solutions (including practical experience) in Cloud, BI, Data and Analytics (BI front end, data analytics middleware, backend data warehouse technologies, BigQuery, Looker, Data proc, Pub/Sub).

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, manage complex business cycles, identify solution use cases, and influence long-term business direction of accounts.
  • Deliver against quota and achieve or exceed business and growth goals while forecasting and report your territory’s business.
  • Work with Google accounts and cross-functional teams (e.g. Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop Go-to-Market strategies, drive pipeline and business growth, close agreements, represent the customer, and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.
  • Develop and execute business plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key industries, and focus on building accounts.
  • Work with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understand each customer’s technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, business drivers, competitors, and how they can transform their business using the technologies.
