Job Description

The Channel Business Manager, Belgium, will be responsible for increasing Milestone Systems' market share in Belgium and Luxembourg. This role requires proactive networking, cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients, and managing a portfolio of channel partners. Responsibilities include achieving and exceeding business plan targets, building and deepening relationships with accounts, promoting Milestone products (XProtect, Arcules, BriefCam), participating in events, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The position demands strong sales experience in the video security industry, technical knowledge of AI, IT, IoT, and cloud solutions, and fluency in Dutch/Flemish, French, and English. Eighty percent of the time will be spent traveling to accounts across the region, with occasional travel to the Benelux office in Breda and other Milestone offices.

Are you a proactive networker skilled in channel sales, with the ability to cultivate relationships with both existing and prospective clients? 
And are you commercially and technically experienced to build and manage a portfolio of dedicated channel partners? Since Milestone Systems is expanding its team, we have an opportunity for you to be part of an exciting future in a high growth industry.

Benelux is an important territory in the Western Europe region, and the Channel Business Manager Belux will have a key role to increase our market share.

Job tasks

Your main responsibility will be to further increase our market leading position in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will contribute to this by going out as a hunter with your persistent mentality! Using your expertise and knowledge in channel management, you will be growing and expanding the business with your channel partners (2-tier). You are able to oversee the playing field of customers, prospects and channel partners and act in such a way that you are always able to remain successful in the short and long term. You will be responsible to prioritize your accounts by given them attention such that the business potential of the portfolio is maximized. 

Your workplace is homebased, and our Benelux office is located in Breda. 
You will be reporting to the Sales Manager Benelux.

The role will also include:

  • Achieving and exceeding your business plan for your accounts
  • Building, driving, and deepening relations with your accounts
  • For Belgium and Luxembourg promote and market Milestone Systems and its products: XProtect, Arcules and BriefCam
  • Participating at events, seminars and exhibitions
  • Good cooperation with your internal and external stakeholders, this includes cooperation with Technology Partners and Distributors by working closely with them and your colleagues in our team
  • Building, maintaining and expanding our business relationships and new prospects with a mix of System Integrators, consultants and end users together with our Key Account Manager
  • Presenting, discussing, adjusting and following up on video security, AI and cloud solutions with your customers and all relevant parties
  • Reporting and documentation in SalesForce, our CRM management tool
  • You will spend eighty percent of your time on the road to your accounts, who are spread across your region
  • Often traveling to meet your colleagues and customers at our Benelux office in Breda is also needed and sometimes travelling abroad to other Milestone offices is required

Professional qualifications 

  • Higher Education with technical knowledge with a commercial focus
  • Minimum of 7 years’ sales experience in video security industry sales and knowledge of AI, IT, IoT and cloud solutions
  • Proven sales record and revenue growth driver skills
  • Competent IT and technical skills
  • Fundamental commercial and technical knowledge of IT software and/or hardware
  • A goal oriented, sales focused and self-confident profile
  • Willingness to travel, work independently and closely monitor your own goals
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to uphold organizational values and high moral standards
  • Fluency in Dutch/Flemish, French and English is a must
  • Experience with Salesforce 
  • MS Office a must
