Job Description

Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) business of Philips provides remote cardiac monitoring services for more than one million patients per year. Our ECG Services and Solutions benefit healthcare on a global level. As a Clinical Consultant, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between healthcare technology and clinical practice. This is a field role wherein you will provide training to customers (hospitals, private clinics service providers) remotely as well as on-site. In this customer-facing role, you are required to go on average 1 day a week to the office (Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Best, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris or Solna). Next to that, on average, you will travel about 1 to 2 days a week to hospitals and private medical players (within Europe).

We are very much interested in meeting people with a background as cardiac nurse.


Your role:

You are part of the innovative and fast paced Services & Solutions Delivery Team within a growing and vibrant organization where you will take a key role to expand our solutions within Europe.

  • Bring in-depth knowledge of clinical practices and standards around ECG (Electrocardiography and Cardiology), providing insights to customers and internal stakeholders on how Philips' products and solutions can best be utilized to improve patient care. 
  • Responsible for training healthcare professionals on how to use Philips' AM&D medical devices, systems and services. This includes creating and delivering training programs tailored to the needs of different users, from Nurses, Holter Technicians to Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Neurologists and Department Managers.
  • Provide on-site support during the implementation of new solutions, helping to integrate AM&D solutions into the existing workflows of healthcare facilities. 
  • Work closely with healthcare providers to build strong relationships, understanding their needs and challenges to offer tailored solutions. 
  • Provide hands-on technical support to resolve any issues ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations. 
  • Support the sales team by demonstrating the clinical benefits of Philips' AM&D Solutions to potential customers, helping to drive sales. Post Sales support to customers ensuring satisfaction and promoting the long-term use of Philips' solutions
  • Help healthcare providers understand and comply with relevant regulatory requirements, ensuring that Philips' AM&D Solutions are used in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor level
  • 5+ years’ experience in the area of ECG.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinic is required.
  • Experience in a corporate environment is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills- able to work in a structured and compliant manner. 
  • Ability to work independently, identify and build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Knowledge of customer needs, technical and market trends in the area of ECG.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
