Job Description
The Field Services Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining user endpoint devices. This involves tasks like inventory, asset recording, and completing paperwork for customer acceptance. The technician will travel to customer locations daily, requiring a flexible work schedule. Key responsibilities include providing recommendations for end-user systems, deploying systems, managing end-user systems, protecting systems with anti-virus, providing disposal services, deploying software, contacting third-party suppliers, maintaining network printers, providing project management for workstation and printer services, maintaining inventory, and adhering to customer onboarding and offboarding processes. The role requires ensuring workstation and printer availability per service level agreements (SLAs).
Must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience.
- A+ Certification
- Familiarity with Windows OS and Office suites.
- Apple iOS knowledge
- Ability to perform inventory and asset recording.
- Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premise.
- 5+ years’ experience with desktop/laptop hardware.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.

Position Overview:
Desktop Support Services relate to managing and maintaining user endpoint devices including Customer’s desktops, laptops, printers, and other mobile devices. You will complete proper inventory and asset recording processes prior to and during delivery and complete appropriate paperwork as required for customer acceptance. On a daily basis you will travel to customer locations, so a flexible work schedule is a must.

The Field Services Technician is primarily responsible for:
- Provide recommendations to Customer in the review, inventory, and procurement of end-user systems.
- Deploy end user systems (as needed) for hires or as part of normal system refreshes.
- Provide on-going day-to-day management of Customer’s end-user systems and devices.
- Protect Customer’s end-user systems via Customer-supplied anti-virus and anti-malware solutions.
- Provide destruction and disposal services including Certificate(s) of Destruction for systems that are End of Life (EoL).
- Deploy software packages to end-user systems as specified by Customer.
- Contact third-party suppliers including but not limited to Ricoh and HP on behalf of Customer for printer-related issues.
- Maintain and manage Customer’s network printers including toner replacement and regular printer maintenance.
- Provide Project Management Services for projects relating to Workstation & Printer services.
- Maintain an inventory of Customer’s workstation, peripheral and printer devices.
- Adhere to Customer’s onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure availability of Customer’s workstations and printers per prescribed SLA’s.
We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree preferred and at least 5 years experience with PC systems, related peripherals, structure cabling, and common software programs and Operating Systems.
- A+ certification
- Familiarity with standard Windows O/S and Office suites.
- Apple iOS knowledge
- Ability to thoroughly and accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete paperwork as required by customer, including vendor warranties.
- Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premise.
- 5+ years’ experience with desktop/laptop hardware.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Qualified candidates can expect an hourly range of $38.00-$40.00 per hour.
Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local California area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
