Job Details
- Understand our product and publishing team’s user retention philosophy, and be the bridge of communication between publishing team and our Malaysian users
- Moderate and oversee the product’s Malaysian communities on our official Discord and on Facebook page
- Translate and localize social media postings and online marketing ads from English to Bahasa Malaysia
- Organize and participate in Garena-organized local grassroots events and community gatherings
- Work closely with marketing team and the rest of publishing team to develop effective campaigns by providing in-depth insights on Malaysian FPS gamers
- Fresh graduates or young professionals with experience in community management (such as gamer community events), game operations, game publishing or related scope of work is preferred
- Hardcore gamer with a strong familiarity with major FPS games on PC and Mobile. Passionate about games with a good understanding of the gaming industry, and preferably familiar with recent shooting games.
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia; Good written and verbal communication skills in English language is preferred
- Familiar with Discord and its various bots and moderation tools
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and rapport-building is preferred
