Summary

The eCommerce Coordinator at UMG's Interscope Capitol Labels Group will support the eCommerce lead in managing direct-to-consumer (D2C) programs. Responsibilities include compiling logistical information for product launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams (Store Management, Order Management, etc.), performing QA checks on web stores, managing inventory, placing music orders, generating sales reports, handling comp requests, managing global linkfires, liaising with international territories, and assisting in creating eCommerce pitches. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

UMG is looking for an eCommerce Coordinator to join Interscope Capitol Labels Group. The eCommerce Coordinator will work closely with a dedicated eCommerce lead and their teammates to help organize and coordinate the operations and logistics needed to successfully execute new direct-to-consumer programs revolving around artist activity and key events. They will support the eCommerce lead in coordinating with various internal and external departments to ensure that all necessary operational components are aligned for the launch and maintenance of eCommerce programs including store campaigns, CRM and fan acquisition campaigns, VIP ticketing programs, and more. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle the coordination of information for many different cross-functional teams. 

How you’ll CREATE: 

  • Compile and track necessary logistical information for new product/program launches (SKUs, product titles, product descriptions, imagery, etc.). 

  • Gather, organize, project manage, and liaise with multiple cross-functional team members including Store Management, Order Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, Production, and Marketing teams to ensure deadlines to meet launch dates. 

  • Work closely with store manager to ensure that they have all pertinent information for store and product launches. Field all comments/amendments to ensure timely program launches. 

  • Perform regular QA checks on active web stores to ensure proper shop functionality, marketing copy, and merchandising. 

  • Proactively manage music and merchandise inventory levels across all stores and alert appropriate team members when product needs to be replenished. 

  • Place music orders in UMGs internal music ordering system. Follow those orders until they land at warehouse. 

  • Compile and provide various sales and inventory reports to relevant stakeholders as needed. 

  • Submit comp requests for stakeholders, artist management, sweepstakes prize winners, influencers etc. 

  • Work closely with inventory and order management team to provide packing and tracking information for incoming shipments. 

  • Create, manage, and supply all global linkfires. 

  • Liaise with international territories for creation of localized stores and programs, ensuring that all international territories have information they need to replicate various product offerings and campaigns. 

  • Occasionally assist in creation of eCommerce pitches and product / marketing presentations that are to be delivered to brand managers and artist managers. 

  • Monitor social activity to identify potential fulfillment issues and/or poor user experience. 

  • General admin including meeting scheduling, expense reports, occasional travel booking. 

Bring your VIBE: 

  • 1-2+ year of relevant internship or full-time work experience, preferably in music, entertainment, or eCommerce 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) 

  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow through 

  • Extremely organized with superior time management skills 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight schedules while maintaining production of high quality work 

  • Self-accountability to follow-through with proper consistent updates to stakeholders 

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google docs 

  • Experience with Monday.com preferred, but not required 

  • Experience with Photoshop is a plus, but not required 

  • Experience with Linkfire is a plus, but not required 

  • Experience with Shopify is a plus, but not required 

  • Strong interest in learning more about eCommerce Operations and eCommerce Marketing 

  • BA degree in related field preferred
