Alocai seeks a Data Science Intern/Workstudent to contribute to the development of its AI-powered game localization platform. Responsibilities include researching and developing deep learning models (Machine Translation, NLP, text-to-speech, speech-to-text), leveraging large datasets, analyzing audio and text data, and translating business requirements into prototypes. The role involves software development using Python, JavaScript, Flask, and TypeScript, working with SQL, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras. Experience in a software development environment and a master's degree in a relevant field are required.

YOUR MISSION

Did you ever want to work within the videogame industry? Do you want to get inside the latest games, studios, and the whole localization process of Video Games? We are now developing the Alocai Platform, a game-changer in the video game culturalization market.

You will have access to large datasets. Additionally, you will analyze and model audio, text, data to solve real-world problems and translate business and functional requirements into quick prototypes or proofs of concept.

This position can be done as a compulsory Internship towards your university end of year grades or in a Workstudent type position.

Research and development of a deep learning model (Machine Translation, NLP, text-to-speech, speech-to-text)
Software development skills

Your profile

YOUR PROFILE

Enrolled in a master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or machine learning.
Experienced understanding of and ability to implement algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code
Extensive knowledge of AI/ML and basic experience in the development of such systems
Initial relevant experience/internship in a software development environment
Analytical reasoning and complex problem solving involving mathematical programming and big data problems
German knowledge (doesn't have to be perfect)

TECHNOLOGIES

Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Flask, TypeScript
Data: SQL (be able to create multiple join queries etc)
Data science and machine learning (Pandas, scikit-learn)
Deep learning (Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)
Knowledge of BI tools is a plus
Cloud: AWS
