About the Work
Introduction to PayPay Management Strategy Department
Mission of the Management Strategy Department
- To drive the growth and profitability improvement of the entire PayPay Group through data analysis.
- To establish a data-driven group management foundation by preparing necessary data and realizing a KPI monitoring environment through dashboards.
- To achieve automation and efficiency in management operations by utilizing AI and various technologies.

Background of Recruitment
- To increase the number of DX promotion members to realize management control in response to the expansion of business scale and areas in the financial/payment business domain.
Specific Job Responsibilities
You will promote DX projects for management strategy formulation and execution.
- Requirements definition and construction/finalization of management reporting KPI dashboards.
- Operation, maintenance, and promotion of additional improvements for cloud-based budget management systems.
- Operation of various automation tools (RPA, etc.), consideration of expansion areas, and lead implementation.
- Advancement of management operations utilizing AI (Python, generative AI for machine learning, automation, efficiency, etc. *Generative AI is currently being planned and promoted with full-scale utilization in mind).
- Other planning and promotion of various projects for building a group management foundation and responding to future business expansion and changes in management requirements.
*There may be cases where you are seconded to a PayPay group company.
Required Experience/Skills
Those with a total of 5 or more years of the following work experience:
- Dashboard building experience with Tableau, Sigma, etc.
- SQL programming, experience implementing data tables and queries in Big Query or Snowflake.
- Practical experience in requirements definition, system design/development, implementation, operation, and maintenance related to management systems at SIer companies, etc.
- Experience in planning and PMO for system development and implementation projects.
- Experience in implementation, operation, and maintenance of RPA (UiPath, etc.) and automation tools.
- Experience in DX planning and promotion utilizing generative AI such as Chat-GPT, Gemini, etc.
Desirable Experience/Skills
- Those who have recently been responsible for in-house data infrastructure, data analysis, and BI in DX projects.
- Those who want to plan and promote the construction of group management and its underlying management infrastructure using generative AI.
- Those who have been responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of budget management/management accounting systems.
- Those who wish to form a career in a user (business) department from a system or IT department career.
- Those who want to move from a large/medium SIer company (developer, not PM) to a user company.
- Consultants who want to move to the user company side and actively drive development and analysis themselves.
- Experience facing customers, such as in sales.
- Work experience in fast-paced companies (IT, venture, etc.).
- Experience working remotely using tools like Zoom and Slack.

Work Location
- Hybrid Workstyle (office, home, or satellite office for remote work)
- Due to the nature of the position, occasional attendance at the Tokyo office will be required.
- Use of satellite offices is subject to departmental rules.
Working Hours
- Super Flex System (no core time)
- Principle: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)
Holidays
- Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company-designated days.
Leave (Statutory Leave and Company Benefits)
- Annual paid leave (14 days for the first year, prorated based on joining month, usable from joining date).
- Personal leave (5 days per year, 3 or 5 days for the first year depending on joining month) *PayPay's unique special paid leave system, usable for illness/injury/hospital visits for oneself/family/pets, etc.
Salary
- Annual salary system (includes a portion of fixed overtime pay).
- Determined by company regulations based on experience, skills, performance, and contribution.
- Reviewed once a year.
- Special bonus (incentive) paid once a year based on company performance and individual contribution.
- Overtime work allowance, late-night work allowance available.
- Part of the salary can be received in a PayPay account (supports digital salary payment).
