Job Description

Tesla is seeking an Electrician/Field Service Technician to join its Supercharging team in Bristol/Exeter. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs of Tesla's Supercharger network across the UK and internationally as needed. Responsibilities include on-site technical activities related to installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance; troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; acting as the first point of contact for contractors; analyzing recurring issues and providing feedback to engineering teams; and planning technical activities. The ideal candidate will have experience as an electrician, ideally with high voltage experience, a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. Flexibility for travel and overnight stays is required.

Must have:

Experience as an electrician
High Voltage experience (plus)
Troubleshooting & repair skills
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and independent work style
Valid driver's license

What to Expect

As a Field Service Technician in our Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure our Superchargers are operating at their best. Our Supercharging network is the largest global, fast charging network in the world and enables our customers to travel long distances comfortably. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within the UK. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Supercharging network within the UK and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Act as the first point of contact to contractors
Analyse recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Experience as an electrician
Experience with High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling, including overnight stays
A valid driver's license
Fluency in English
