The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in driving financial strategy, performance, and decision-making. Responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial analysis, partnering with various teams to provide actionable insights. This position also supports the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate accounting records. Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex financial data into strategic recommendations are essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively, and continually seeks process improvements. Additional duties include monitoring financial performance, reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), and conducting performance analytics. The role requires collaboration with department leaders and mentoring finance team members.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in management reporting and analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Financial accounting principles knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills (Macros, VBA)
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Good to have:
  • SAP experience
  • Experience with enterprise reporting software
  • SQL knowledge

In addition to financial planning, this position supports the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting records. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex financial data into strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve financial processes.
  
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy
  • Lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop strategic financial plans and provide recommendations.
  • Analyze key business drivers and financial trends to support decision-making.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, highlighting key trends and variances.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive business objectives.
  • Support month-end close by ensuring financials are accurate and aligned with forecasts.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
  • Conduct slot performance analytics, revenue and unit reporting, and research to assess trends and business performance. 
Process Improvement & Business Intelligence
  • Improve forecasting and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead system upgrades and enhancements for financial reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and work cross-functionally to improve financial and operational efficiencies.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Serve as a financial partner to department leaders, helping to translate financial data into business insights.
  • Support and mentor finance team members to foster growth and development.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Skills/Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of experience with management reporting and analysis.  
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable track record of working with and servicing internal stakeholders.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles.
  • Team oriented professional with a “roll-up his/her sleeves” attitude, who supports and promotes a team effort and celebrates team successes.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles.
  • MS office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
  • Advanced knowledge of excel functions and abilities.
  • Experience with Macros, VBA, and SQL knowledge
  • Experience with SAP desirable
  • Experience with enterprise reporting software
