What we are looking for:
Academic Qualifications: Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Accounting Expertise: Solid background and expertise in IFRS.
Professional Certification: Completed ACCA, ACA, or similar accounting certification.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and IFRS 9.
Analytical Abilities: Ability to critically write and review accounting memos on accounting treatment.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
Leadership: Ability to lead and give instructions to junior team members.
Additional Experience: Experience with consolidation is considered a plus.
US GAAP Knowledge: Knowledge and experience with US GAAP will be
considered a strong plus.
Personal Attributes: Demonstrate ambition and a thirst for new challenges.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
What would impress us additionally:
Prior experience in supporting the accounting treatment of complex matters.
Deep understanding of finance processes, legislative frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Good understanding of ERP systems, operating accounting software, and
navigating cloud solutions.
Ability to apply theoretical concepts in practical settings.
Tech savviness and comfort with learning new systems.
What would your day look like:
Support the clients to develop interactive reports with their key performance indicators, design and implementation of reports in various dashboarding solutions; business case models; data analysis using modern technologies;
Advise on complex accounting treatments and provide guidance for treatment and building models; help with accounting framework conversions, application of new standards, recommendations to accounting policies, and transaction accounting, including post-deal accounting and valuation; carve-out financial statements;
Capital markets (Support for IPOs, equity and debt offerings and listed company M&A in other markets);
Supervise the work of more junior team members and contribute to the development of their skills and capabilities.
Own relationships with individual members of a client team.
Contribute to business development activities, such as the creation of proposals, discussion documents and other.
