Head of Game Studio

We are seeking an ambitious and visionary Head of Game Studio to lead our two Serbian game studios, based in Belgrade and Novi Sad. The role is operational in its nature, but expect more as it will require your creativity, strategy, and leadership while driving innovation, growth, and excellence in our game portfolio to deliver exceptional player experiences and business results. 

Responsibilities: 

• You will lead the Serbian Games studios (Belgrade and Novi Sad), ensuring a range of studio requirements are delivered, including staff management, communication, strategy, and administration. 

• You will be responsible for all projects from the Serbian Games studios, including market entries and projects outside of typical game development. 

• As you will be highly product focused you will hold the highest quality and stability standards towards the product and will continually strive for the next big thing from Relax.  

• Implementing a sustainable development strategy for the Serbian Games studios 

• Foster team motivation and build trusting relationships with your studios and other Game Studios. 

• You will develop and manage the plans required to sustainably maintain and grow the studio, ensuring the mandates and projects from the Serbian Games studios. 

• Collaborating efficiently with other Game Studios, 3rd Party Studios, and external vendors, you will define the objectives of quality to reach for all mandates and games developed by your studio. 

• You will evolve best practice methodologies, production processes, and efficient tools to promote and foster a game development culture. 

• You will recruit with your leads the best skills around you and foster a culture that promotes the constant development of expertise across the studio. 

• Be a mentor for all your leads so they can achieve the absolute best, and coach them to coach their teams.  

• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and player preferences to drive continuous improvement and innovation in game development. 

• Be the key contact for anything Serbian Games studios related queries from game productions to marketing.   

• Work directly with the POs (Product Owners) to ensure project roadmaps are achievable and studio teams have all they need to provide the highest quality games.  

• Collaborate with the other Heads of Studios in resource conflicts and project planning. Promote cross-studio learning and sharing of knowledge.   

• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and potential risks.  

Requirements: 

• Co-development mindset and entrepreneurial skills 

• Has a strong product mindset with a focus on innovation and elevating each game the studios produce. 

• Experience in casino games design/development, with a focus on slot games 

• Project/People Management experience is required. 

• Knowledge of Agile work cycles, Waterfall, and/or other methodologies 

• Ability to foster multiple conflict resolution strategies. 

• Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal to various levels and audiences. 

• Good understanding of the iGaming/Gaming industry 

• Able to effectively predicate production timelines and commitments independently
