A career in our Corporate Tax Reporting practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. As an Intern / Trainee, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
About us
Tax Reporting & Strategy team assists Clients with tax and accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
taxpayer registration;
development of tax accounting policy;
accounting set-up;
bookkeeping;
preparation / review of tax returns and statutory reports (statistics, National Bank);
addressing tax notifications, tax audits;
improving tax and accounting processes and automating routine tasks.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Accounting and tax accounting transactions for representatives offices/branches of foreign legal entities, local companies;
Preparation and submission of tax (VAT, WHT, CIT other taxes) and statistical reports, reports to the National Bank of Kazakhstan;
Participation in the tax reviews, ad-hoc tax consulting, work on tax notifications
Communication (both correspondence and personal) with clients and team on a daily basis;
Process enhancements and routine tasks automation, participation in the development of the digital products for the Clients;
Participation in the marketing and promotional activities.
Knowledge and skills required:
Higher education in finance, accounting or economics
Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, Word)
Ability to self-study, learn new tools and skills;
Ability to work with a large amount of data, analytical mind, ability to work in a team and clearly communicate results;
Ability to work both remotely and in the office;
English: from the Intermediate level;
Previous experience as an accountant; 1C:Enterprise 8.3 and advanced IT skills (programming, data analytics, BI) is an advantage
