ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a Lead/Executive Producer to oversee a team of producers and portfolio of projects in R&D space across different Virtuos studios. This is an ambitious role with considerable technical, managerial and production challenges.
We are seeking a candidate with technical background, innovative mind & excellent production skills ideally from game AAA or AI environment.
- Lead large projects across multiple studios and disciplines and oversee a team of producers across these studios.
- Be a key leader/contributor to the development team and responsible for identifying and resolving issues across studios
- Develop trust and secure buy-in from multiple teams the development team and the external partners
- Manage the production to ensure deliverables match the expectations and quality of the internal client.
- Oversee milestone content and realistic production schedules in coordination with team leads and management, across multiple locations.
- Manage change – ensuring project scope is adhered to, controlling feature creep, ensuring project is delivered in accordance with expectations, and project budget changes if necessary.
- Continuously assess risk and keep the scope of the projects in line with budget and schedule.
- Manage day to day communication & positive working relationship in matters regarding schedule, budget, change and risk with internal stakeholders and make recommendations accordingly.
- Ensure that each Producer on your team is working from a tracked schedule and has a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of their contribution.
- Mentor assigned team of producers in all areas related to production & project management
- Shipped successful AA/AAA games or projects of similar scale in a production management role.
- Highly responsible, self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to a creative environment.
- Outstanding organization, communication and exceptional management skills/leadership.
- Exceptional project management practices and software know-how including Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Hansoft (or similar)
- Working knowledge waterfall and Agile practices.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a large project across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of technical issues in software development (ideally in games), previous experience and/or interest in driving AI (ML/DL) development, ideally technical education or background
- Experience in managing multinational team of individuals through demanding phases of software development
- Strong interpersonal skills, utilizing both oral and written communication.
- Proactive and positive attitude with the willingness to support the team and project.
- Strong leadership skills, able to drive various parties (e.g. Development, Art, ML/DL, Game teams) through the whole development process.
- Fluent English language skills.
