About the job

Job Description

As a Program Manager, you are a business leader, helping Google's ideas and products look, feel and sound natural to users across the globe. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Android, Play, YouTube) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you are in charge of driving the localization process to ensure successful launches across the globe. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your role to keep all the players coordinated on project progress and deadlines. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide strategic insight to cross-functional teams and leadership to drive Google’s product expansion globally. You will work with Googlers from Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Finance, to name just a few. Our solutions are rooted in our technical skill, product expertise, and a thorough understanding of our customers’ complex needs. Whether the answer is a bespoke solution to solve a unique problem, or a new tool that can scale across Google, everything we do aims to ensure our customers benefit from the full potential of Google products.

  • Experience working internationally or in other languages, with an interest in other cultures.
  • Ability to operate separately in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and global environment with proven success in project management, execution and multitasking in business process improvement and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in influencing/communicating with multiple stakeholders at all levels of management.
