Job Description
Varonis is seeking a Senior Low-level Engineer to work on a new and innovative product. This role involves strong problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills for large-scale projects. The engineer will need to demonstrate passion, creativity, and a desire to learn complex technical areas while delivering quality software in an agile and accountable environment. The company is focused on protecting data from the inside out.
Must have:
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Low-level Engineer.
- Proficient in C/C++/Rust, with knowledge of ecosystems.
- Experience with Go.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Experience working with eBPF.
Good to have:
- Experience working on low-latency, high throughput data processing.
- Demonstrated engineering and architectural understanding.
- In depth understanding of System design and OS concepts.
- Knowledge in Computer Networking.
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry.

Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Low-level Engineer - Mandatory
- Proficient in C/C++/Rust, with a good knowledge of Its ecosystems - Mandatory
- Experience with Go - Mandatory
- Experience working with Linux - Mandatory
- Experience working with eBPF - Mandatory
- Experience working on low-latency, high throughput data processing initiatives
- Demonstrated engineering and architectural understanding on projects ranging in scope and focus
- In depth understanding of System design and OS concepts
- Knowledge in Computer Networking
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry- Advantage
