Role Overview

Mantle is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Head of Digital Assets to spearhead our institutional-grade digital asset finance products' development, growth, and management. This executive-level role is central to defining and executing a comprehensive strategy for launching and scaling Mantle's financial product strategy, targeting financial institutions (FIs) and institutional investors in bridging traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi).

This role demands a deep understanding of digital assets, compliance frameworks, fund management, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward achieving impactful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Fund Strategy: Develop and execute the overarching strategy for the creation, management, and growth of Mantle’s digital asset index funds.

• Blockchain Use Cases: Innovate and integrate blockchain-based solutions into financial workflows, focusing on liquidity management, custody solutions, and cross-chain interoperability.

• Market Positioning: Establish Mantle Network as the trusted partner for financial institutions, seamlessly bridging the gap between TradFi and DeFi.

Operational Excellence

• Fund Structuring & Compliance: Oversee fund structuring, legal frameworks, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth fund operations and secure licensing in global jurisdictions.

• Client Distribution: Build and execute a distribution strategy targeting hedge funds, family offices, custodians, centralized exchanges (CEXs), and banks.

• Team Development: Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing team focused on fund management, client relationships, and financial product innovation.

Drive product AUM growth and partnership development

• Cultivate and deepen partnerships with banks, custodians, hedge funds, and centralized exchanges to build robust fiat on/off-ramp capabilities and liquidity pipelines.

• Lead collaboration with external legal, compliance, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with industry standards and regional requirements.

Product Innovation

• Promote cutting-edge features such as institutional-grade custody, rebalancing mechanisms, liquidity solutions, and oracle-based price locking to drive fund adoption.

• Pioneer new blockchain-based financial product applications to enhance Mantle’s fund offerings and meet evolving client needs.

Thought Leadership

• Represent Mantle at global industry events and conferences, establishing the company as a leader in institutional digital asset finance.

• Drive educational and advocacy efforts to increase institutional awareness and adoption of blockchain-powered solutions.

Your Craft

• 8+ years in business development or sales, with 3+ years in leadership roles.

• Proven experience working with institutional clients in Web3, blockchain, and TradFi sectors

• Expertise in blockchain technology, liquidity management, custody solutions, and token economics.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic decision-making skills.

• Has experienced in leadership role with high visibility and impact on the company’s growth.
