What You'll Do

The Motion Graphics Artist will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging motion graphics for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and video production workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to join ZAGG at a rapid growth stage and have a major impact on the future of our brand.

You will:

Own storytelling through motion graphics, video, and music/audio

Craft compelling user testimonials and highlight our suite of software products

Create a polished final product and convey a great love for your craft

Create visually-engaging motion graphic video assets and visual effects to support marketing, sales and overall brand video initiatives

Conceptualize, design, and transform scripts and treatments into fluid, highly effective motion graphic animations

Work and communicate with producers in and out of the studio

Collaborate with other teams to ensure a full understanding of the creative objectives, needs of assigned projects, and required deadlines

Have the creative vision to edit raw video footage and add enhance with elements of motion graphics

Deliver a polished final product devoid of inconsistencies or minor visual mistakes

Manage tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects and changing priorities (long hours may occasionally be required, but rare)

What You'll Need To Be Successful

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or related field

3+ years of experience in motion graphics and video production

Strong Demo Reel with clear examples of product visualization — animation, text animation, special effects, 3D modeling, and rigging

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro

Experience with Keyshot and Maya

Strong understanding of design principles and animation techniques

Able to work closely with multiple directors, producers, editors and other team members

Critical eye for color, composition, lighting, art, and animation

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to ensure the highest quality work

Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
