What You'll Do

The Motion Graphics Artist will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging motion graphics for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and video production workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to join ZAGG at a rapid growth stage and have a major impact on the future of our brand.

You will:

• Own storytelling through motion graphics, video, and music/audio
• Craft compelling user testimonials and highlight our suite of software products
• Create a polished final product and convey a great love for your craft
• Create visually-engaging motion graphic video assets and visual effects to support marketing, sales and overall brand video initiatives
• Conceptualize, design, and transform scripts and treatments into fluid, highly effective motion graphic animations
• Work and communicate with producers in and out of the studio
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure a full understanding of the creative objectives, needs of assigned projects, and required deadlines
• Have the creative vision to edit raw video footage and add enhance with elements of motion graphics
• Deliver a polished final product devoid of inconsistencies or minor visual mistakes
• Manage tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects and changing priorities (long hours may occasionally be required, but rare)
  
  
  

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in motion graphics and video production
• Strong Demo Reel with clear examples of product visualization — animation, text animation, special effects, 3D modeling, and rigging
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro
• Experience with Keyshot and Maya
• Strong understanding of design principles and animation techniques
• Able to work closely with multiple directors, producers, editors and other team members
• Critical eye for color, composition, lighting, art, and animation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to ensure the highest quality work
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
