Job Description

The New Business Account Strategist at Google will manage a new customer portfolio for six months, ensuring their long-term success with digital advertising. This role involves delivering against customer goals, providing an outstanding onboarding experience, and working cross-functionally with various teams. Responsibilities include implementing creative ways to improve customer relationships, tailoring performance-enhancing suggestions, promoting Google products, and communicating with customers via various channels. The strategist will provide strategic advice to help customers achieve a strong return on investment through a consultative approach. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 2+ years of experience in advertising, sales, business development, or marketing. Fluency in Vietnamese and English is crucial for managing client relationships in the specified region. Experience in the TV or media industry and digital marketing campaign management is highly desirable.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in Vietnamese and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 2 years of experience in the TV or media industry.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Ability to reach out to customers/cold calling, help customers to add value to their business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up for long-term success with their digital advertising journey.
  • Deliver against assigned customer goals while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and program teams to deliver seamless customer handovers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, chat, and email. Provide strategic advice to help our customers get the return on their investment by working closely with them in a consultative role.
