Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on driving business growth by promoting YouTube and other Google solutions. The position involves working with E-commerce retailers and understanding the TV and media buying process.

  • Media planning & buying knowledge

  • E-commerce retail experience

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with E-commerce retailers in their performance marketing activities.
  • Experience in media/TV planning and buying.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

In this role, you will focus on driving business by promoting YouTube and other Google solutions along the funnel, understanding of the TV and media buying process and media agency landscape.


Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation and delivery of a specific portfolio of key client activity, maximizing in-quarter performance, return on investment, and identifying full funnel opportunities to expand that align with the customers business objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at media agencies and client-side marketers. Present compelling proposals and pitches that demonstrate the value of YouTube and digital media in relation to TV advertising.
  • Partner with Account team members and cross-functional partners (e.g., gTech, International Growth team, Product Specialists) to drive business opportunities that build long-term growth, particularly in the upper funnel solutions.
  • Work towards ambitious goals while prioritizing and delivering an excellent experience to Google's customers.
  • Position Google’s AI solutions effectively, challenge media mix investments through market and consumer insights and application of sales skills.
