Job Description
The Operations Director - China oversees daily activities and operational functions in China, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with business goals. Responsibilities include collaborating with business leaders to achieve goals, optimizing processes, managing budgets and financial performance, ensuring compliance, mentoring staff, building a high-performing team culture, supporting talent acquisition, analyzing data for improvement, and preparing operational reports. This role also acts as the primary accountability partner for promoting communications and inclusion across all global branch offices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and experience in operational functions within the gaming industry is preferred.
Must have:

We are seeking an Operations Director to oversee China's daily activities and operational functions. This leadership role ensures efficiency, productivity, and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and drive operational excellence. This role also serves as the primary accountability partner for promoting communications and inclusion of all branch offices across the world-wide organization on behalf of business units and back office units.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business line leaders to set and achieve business goals.
- Lead the optimization of processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring efficiency and quality standards.
- Help manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for operational departments.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Mentor, support, and develop managers and staff.
- Build a high-performing team culture, emphasizing collaboration and accountability.
- Support talent acquisition, retention, and professional development initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Prepare and present operational performance reports to stakeholders.
- Work closely with other Business Units to support organizational objectives.
- Support corporate back office functions such as HR, Talent, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.
- Drive alignment between operational functions and business strategies.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience (7+ years) in a leadership role preferably in Operational functions.
- Experience in the gaming industry preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Proficiency in operational tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms).
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and driving cost efficiencies.
