Summary of Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for Events and Partnership Marketing to join Nexon America. This individual will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships while spearheading event marketing initiatives and management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in partnership development, event planning, and project management.

This role requires a creative and highly organized professional with a deep understanding of event marketing, agency management, partner sponsorships, collaboration, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for our fans, players and business partners.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Event Marketing:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact marketing events to engage our community and to promote the brands beyond our global virtual worlds
    • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and budget allocation
    • Develop compelling event marketing collateral, including invitations, promotional materials, and presentations
    • Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Partnership Management:
    • Execute partnership strategies to increase brand awareness and to promote key marketing beats
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key partners to expand our network and enhance brand visibility
    • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to achieve company goals
    • Identify new partnership and event opportunities aligned with business objectives and market trends
    • Support cross-functionally with marketing, product teams, and the HQ to leverage partnerships for mutual benefit, act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
    • Perform ability to effectively manage and monitor agencies
    • Monitor partnership performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders

Work Experience

  • 3+ years of proven experiences in project management, event marketing, or partnership development
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functions of internal teams

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Strong ability to manage budgets, P&Ls and work with internal system of IO’s
  • Ability to work closely with vendors and cross-functional department such as Finance and Legal
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging and unique event concepts
  • Familiarity with gaming audience and industry influencers

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $80,000 - $95,000 annually.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
