Job Description

The Product Manager, Ad Interfaces (Ads) at Netflix will be responsible for user and application interface products across Netflix Ads. This role involves partnering with engineering and design teams to launch products, prioritizing the product roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, ad operations, marketing, etc.). The ideal candidate will be an expert in building cohesive platforms (UI and API) for other teams and customers, possess a thorough understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, and have experience with legal compliance and ad regulations. Responsibilities include launching and scaling platforms, executing on building foundational platforms, and collaborating with various teams to bring products to market and increase adoption.
Must have:
  • 7+ years Product Management experience
  • Successfully launched and scaled platforms
  • Built foundational platforms for other builders
  • Understanding of adtech ecosystems
  • Experience with Experience Design, Engineering, Data Science

Our Team:

The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using our world class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our members’ viewing experience and drives great outcomes for advertisers. 

Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that differentiate Netflix from other ad-supported streaming services.

We are looking for a Product Manager in the advertising space who is excited to join us on this journey.

About the Role:

This PM will be responsible for user and application interface products across Netflix Ads. This person will provide velocity-increasing software that allows our customers to interact with all Netflix Ads systems and technology. This PM will:

  • Partner with engineering and design teams to launch products that meet the needs of internal and external customers; providing reusable components, workflows and services.

  • Prioritize the product roadmap, managing near-term product delivery while formulating a long-term product strategy to provide maximum velocity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, ad operations, marketing, strategy, policy, and legal to bring products to market and increase adoption

  • Be an expert on building cohesive platforms (UI and API) for other teams and customers to use in building their own products.

We’re seeking a candidate who has:

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience with a proven record of successfully launching and scaling platforms

  • Delivered a roadmap and executed on building foundational platforms that other builders use to meet their customer’s needs.

  • Has a thorough understanding of the adtech ecosystems from helping advertisers express their needs, through to collecting revenue and delivering results.

  • Has experience collaborating with Experience Design, Engineering, Data Science, and other Product Teams. 

  • Has familiarity with legal compliance and changing landscape of ads regulations around the world.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $240,000 - $725,000k.
