Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 3 years of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience developing/launching products/technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.
- Experience driving product goals, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
- Experience creating product road-maps, and working with cross-functional teams.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
The Android Platform Safety team is responsible for ensuring the security and privacy of Android users and their devices around the world.
Google aims to build products that organize the world's information and make it universally accessible to our users. As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.
Responsibilities
- Build a product road-map from market trends, user and partner needs, technology bets and google/android wide initiatives.
- Create high quality Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and work closely with engineering on execution.
- Launch and land these capabilities and measure success.
- Work across the organization to ensure that security experiences carry consistently across different parts of Android.
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners on device integration of security features.
