As a Senior Data Analyst at Blink Health, you will become a company data expert, understanding operations and product features. Responsibilities include presenting data to stakeholders, recommending data utilization strategies, driving weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews, conducting ad-hoc analytics, and developing partner business reviews. You will collaborate across teams to ensure successful growth initiatives, maintain data artifacts, and perform peer code and architecture reviews. The role requires expertise in data analysis, Tableau, SQL, and extracting actionable insights.
Must have:
  • Master's degree in CS/MIS/IS or related field
  • 4+ years data analysis experience
  • 4+ years Tableau reporting & dashboarding
  • 4+ years SQL experience
  • 2+ years driving business reviews
  • 10+ years Python software development
  • 10+ years experience with ETL pipelines
  • Proficiency with SQL, EMR, Python, Spark

Blink Health Group, LLC seeks Senior Data Analyst in New York, NY.

Duties:

  • Become an expert on company data, including understanding the operations and product
    features that generate it.
  • Recommend ways to present and share company data with stakeholders
    in a digestible manner.
  • Make recommendations on how to better utilize company data and share
    it within the organization.
  • Driving weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews for all stakeholders
    within the company -to articulate what happened and why, and what we’re doing going forward
    to accelerate growth.
  • Drive ad-hoc analytics to unlock insights into critical business and client
    questions.
  • Develop and help deliver partner business reviews.
  • Partner with teams across the company to ensure key growth initiatives are implemented successfully.
  • “Know your data” end-end and exhibit exemplary ownership in creating and maintaining data artifacts.

This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field and 4 years of experience.

Also requires 4 years of experience with the following: 

  • data analysis;
  • reporting and dash boarding in Tableau;
  • SQL; and distilling actionable insights from data and identifying and driving related initiatives.
  • Requires 2years of experience driving regular business reviews.
  • Perform peer code and architecture reviews. Design for data integrity, reliability, and performance.
  • Set a high bar for clean and correct code, setting code standards.


This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or its equivalent), plus 10 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or related Engineering occupation.

10 years of experience in each of the following is also required:

  • Python software development;
  • Hands-on experience streaming and building solutions for real-time applications;
  • Building and maintaining robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines using SQL, EMR, Python, and Spark;
  • Writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries across large data sets;
  • Designing and maintaining columnar databases using at least one of the following: Redshift or Snowflake;
  • Distributed data processing using at least one of the following: Hadoop, Spark, or Hive;
  • Utilizing ETL with batch (AWS Data Pipeline or Airflow) and streaming (Kinesis or Kafka);
  • Integration and design for Business Intelligence tools such as Looker or QuickSight;
  • Creating scalable data models for analytics;
  • Designing and building data lakes, with continuous improvement examples for automation and simplification across all aspects of the DW environment.

Telecommuting (remote work) is permitted.

40 hours/week, $170,000 - $170,000 per year.

Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
